WTB Snell SA2000 Helmet

Anyone out there selling at least size large, probably x-large older helmet? I need one for UCARs at Motor Mile Speedway. Was hoping to maybe get lucky and save a buck since the 2000s are on their way out the door.

The new ZAMP sa2005 are selling for $165 each right now , for that price i would buy new

And even though they are going to SA2010, you can still use the SA2005 for several years after the manufacture date...

SA2000 helmets are still good for road racing all year. Since SA2010 versions won't be available until fall, most people won't replace them until the end of the year.

i know. but they are so new they are on backorder for a while

And even though they are going to SA2010, you can still use the SA2005 for several years after the manufacture date...

i am aware, was just hoping to get lucky with one someone had extra or that they didn't want anymore

Guys, I still need a SA2000 rated XL or bigger helmet for the UCAR season. My Zamp SA2010 helmet is on back order and the first race is this Saturday

If anyone would be willing to let me borrow or rent one out, that would be great until my new one gets here. Or what happened to all the old loaner helmets from the region that the rating expired on for SCCA? Might someone have one laying around available for purchase?
