Anyone know any triumph motorcycle buffs in or near enough to the Roanoke area? My Grandad turned 80 last week and is doing great but he told me it's time for one of his unfinished projects to go.
The bike is a basket case (completely disassembled, engine/transmission whole I believe). Which is normally not desired, but I can assure you this is a complete motorcycle, there has never been a person more thorough than my grandfather. Parts are labeled and grouped together in bags. I don't have much information on original mileage or how long it's been disassembled. We are planning on digging it out of the basement sometime in the next month or so but being in Tennessee it's a little hard for me to get back and help him.
This thread may not be appropriate without a price or pictures, feel free to delete or move. I am mostly just trying to see if anyone can help me get leads on this thing. I've always wanted to put it together but I'm just not in a position to do it right now.
