2005 Intrepid Explorer w/ Mod CR125

I am the second owner of this 32mm chassis. It was raced three times by an Intrepid team driver, then used by me for four seasons of AutoX. This is a great chassis with excellent brakes (new master cylinders and brake lines 09). Chassis is straight and laser alignment shows perfect side/side camber specs. It has original bodywork (no crashes) with original factory graphics kit. This chassis includes all torsion bars and caster pills for full tuning. It has a four caliper braking system with floating rear rotor. Chassis also has the all important sliding front hubs for fast track adjustment.

Motor was rebuilt beginning of 09 (new crank) and run for half an autoX season. Rated at 42hp and had new full clutch installed in 06. Set up with a JM Racing Fatty pipe, new in 08 (same pipe used by JT McClintock.) Currently has less than 1h of runtime on bottom end, shifts like butter, neutral very easy to find, 41mm PWK pumparound carb. This will be a very competitive chassis at 385. Paxed 10th at AI last month with old tires and heavy driver.

Motor has two separate configurations, one for broad (autoX) power, and one focusing on top-end (sprint). Will also include an extra cylinder, head, and pipe (T5).

Asking 3,000.

This kart is very well maintained, with new fuel lines, filters, everything is in top shape. I have a bunch of spares/extra gear and would be willing to make a deal to help get you started. Anyone who has seen this kart knows it is very clean and well maintained.

HE says it is a 32mm chassis?? What does that refer too?

Ford, it is the frame tubing diameter, some frames are 30 others are 30/32 and 32. This affects the stiffness of the frame, I think 32 is the best for you and for autox.
