2001 Ford Excursion, V10, 4-spd auto, 2WD w/ open diff
Burgundy exterior, tan leather interior
I bought it in the fall of 06 with something like 63k miles on it, it now has about 106k
I bought from a used car dealer...IIRC, the truck had been 1 owner (in SC) at that point

Stuff I've done to it (other than regular stuff like oil changes and air filter):
Ball joints up front both got changed within the first few months of ownership
It got Yok Geolanders at 66k...still on the truck
@ 74k, it got a new tranny and cooler...apparently one of the cooler lines was leaking...fluid got low, it started making some noises...I took it in and they found enough metal when they dropped the pan that I chose to put a brandy new tranny in
@ 84k, it got Bilsteins all around (wow...shoulda done that sooner!)
@ 93k, it got new upper and lower radiator hoses, fresh coolant, and new plugs
@ 103k, the flex plate failed...got a new flex plate and rear main seal while they were in there
@ 105k, I put new back glass struts in
@ 106k, it got a new windshield wiper motor/system, new belts, new fuel filter, and new PCV valve

I towed all over creation with this thing for the first few years and whiel it's no diesel, it performs admirably. Gets 11-ish mpg towing various cars on my open aluminum trailer. In the last year, it has only towed to local events, as I've had the RV for the long haul. Throughout it's tenure, it's been a great hauler of dogs, Home Depot stuff, etc. Never been a daily driver for me...purely a beast of burden. Because of that and because it has lived outside for the last 4 years, it's no concours winner...but it has no significant cosmetic issues either. The worst on the exterior is a scuff to one of the barn doors courtesy of some retardedness with the trailer at the Huntsville tour a few years ago and a cracked plastic side-view mirror housing on the passenger side courtesy of some retardedness squeezing it into/out of my garage once for some maintenance (the power mirror still works fine). Inside, the biggest issue is that the leather on the drivers seat is 10 years old and is worn and cracking (there are a couple spots on the side of the seat that were repaired before I bought the truck and have held up fine) and the steering wheel has some heavy wear on it too.
