Work is a lot more stable/flexible this year for me, so I'm planning on being there! I'll just do regular work things during the event/photography, long as Cliff and/or Ray are there we'll have all the run groups covered. Stoked to see you guys again!!!

Regarding Tech, do we have annual inspection decals for 2016 available? In the past this annual inspection was for BRR members only, but last year, it seemed anyone could get an annual inspection. Is this a recent change, or am I thinking about it all wrong? I may have missed the 'memo'.

Yes, the annual tech inspection stickers for the vehicles and for the helmets should by now be in the trailer, if not, they are very close to being there.

The annual vehicle tech inspection stickers are for BRR members only, a perk for being a member, non-members must get their vehicles inspected at every event weekend (just once for a two day event). There was a mix-up last year, and the stickers went on all vehicles.

The annual helmet tech inspection sticker is for any helmet that will be used at the event. These helmets must meet the criteria found on this page:

If it is not listed on that page, it cannot be used.

Heath and I will be there for tech. As far as annual tech goes, how am I supposed to know who is a member? Last year I was giving annual techs to anyone that showed up.
I also think that we should not annual tech cars that have tape numbers.
Also are we adding the class STP to our street touring classes?

We will either have the driver show a current SCCA membership card, or we may need to have a list of members for the tech inspector to check. That will be decided before the first event.

I don't know if we want to exclude members with tape numbers, but I'm not even sure how many there would be.

I do think that the numbers need to be on the vehicle before it goes through tech inspection.

We offer annual tech to all SCCA members, so showing a card is the best way to handle this.

Not sure that is has been mentioned yet, but Sunday, Mar. 13 we go onto Daylight Savings Time. Unfortunately we lose an hour of sleep. Oof... Make sure your clocks are right.

Keep this in mind when planning your trip that Sunday morning.

Our software has some limitations, so we are looking into what we can do to offer additional classes.

Those working Tech, myself included, will need to pay special attention to car classing in this event. I imagine with the large amount of Novices, cars may be classed incorrectly. Just a quick browse of the entry list shows a handful that will need to be re-classed. This is not limited to the Novice class either...
