I know a lot of people from the BRR and surrounding regions are headed to Lincoln. Safe travels and best of luck!

From what I've seen on Facebook & such:

Brock blew the motor in the SMF Civic (hole in the block).

Biscuit broke a tie rod and a rolled fender damaged at least one tire.

Ouch! What mechanical black hole has formed in Lincoln?

Not sure but I hope the winds don't carry it this way!

I haven't looked at the forum since before nationals. Day one was rough, the nut on our right side lower ball joint sheared out and taking the cotter pin with it. We got it fixed with one mechanical (ten minutes) missing no runs. I only had about 35 seconds left when I got back up to the grid spot. I finished 11th in class and 273 out of 1230 in pax. The leader in CSP rawed every SP class including the Corvettes in SSP (all other SP classes had equal or better conditions than CSP did). The runs he put together were insane, It made me realize how much we need better shocks watching him go through super bumpy sweepers flat-out never even thinking about lifting. I tried to mimic the line he took though the sweeper(flat out) and ended up spinning biscuit for the first time (in the dry). I personally need another evo school. I am going to try and make 2 or 3 next year.

The car is severely underprepped compared to the other CSP cars there. We are probably down about 20 horsepower to the leader and we were the only car without triple adjustable shocks. We also need a good diff ( some of the csp cars have them). We are pretty on point with the weight, but I am hoping to get into the 1950 range next year. I imagine that it would be the lightest csp car there.

Heath had a codriver from Triad with him as well. They did pretty well in SMF considering they are in an STX car with Hoosiers on it. Next year I think they are going to put some real mods on the car for SMF including bigger intercoolers, more boost and less exhaust. :)
