May event location date

Post by hklvette »

All,

Thanks to Rob Leslie's efforts, an event date at Salem Civic Center has become available in early May. I am posting this to get feedback on which date and location the members of BRR would prefer. In order to give sufficient time to change the date if needed, the poll will be closing eight ( 8 ) days from the date of this post. At that time, the date with >50% of the votes will get scheduled. In the event of a tie, the current date will stand.

EDIT: Well, that settles it then. May 4th is the new May event date. Making arrangements now...

With the wireless timing lights it will be easier to make a better course at RCC.

Salem Civic Center would be better exposure for the club, but I will not be able to make an event on May 4th.

What about if we cancel the April 13th event at Verona (being a religous holiday.....) and do both of these events in May?

I don't like to cancel events less than one month in advance unless a situation outside of our control forces our hand. Also, putting two events in the span of two weeks puts a lot of workload on the people who work very hard to make the events possible, so I like to avoid that as well.

I vote for Salem Civic Center...

I may not have anything to drive by then but I'll show up and work either way. I've never been up to Verona, and I'd rather do at least one event here in town so I can meet all of you in person (well, some of you at least).
