The good:
The car was owned by 1 person previous to me, and was garage kept for the 16 years of his ownership. Seriously clean car. There doesn’t seem to be any rust on the car, including the rear fenders. The stock interior is still in REALLY good shape. It has proven trophy-capable at SCCA ProSolos, (picked up a 2nd place trophy at DC Pro this year) and has taken numerous class wins and top PAX at local events throughout Virginia. Pretty much everyone who has driven the car has jumped in and immediately gone fast. The brakes are pretty strong relative to other STC Civics I have driven. It already makes pretty good power, it will make even more if you were to do the legal cat-replacement and exhaust development.
The bad:
There are two scratches on the outside, I’ve included photos. The one on the fender and the roof above the windshield, which had a rock chip that grew. The tiny plastic fender-liner piece that obscures the crank pulley got destroyed by cones so it needs to be replaced. The alignment probably needs to be checked. It could use an installation of the ES bushings I’m including. I don’t have it currently street registered, so we would need to work out a pickup or delivery. I currently live ~150 miles from the car, so that may take a bit of coordinating to accomplish. Buying this will leave you with not that many excuses for going slow…
Price:
$5500 OBO
Can deliver to NASA-MA Virginia Motorsports Park event on July 15th or Virginia Autocross Championship in Blacksburg on July 22nd.
Let me know if you have any questions, or need more pictures. I can take them this weekend.
