'91 Miata project $1000obo

1991 Mazda Miata, 143k miles. Long nose crank, 5 speed manual. Currently does not run. It was formally a turbo car. Should be an easy project. The only reason I am selling this is to clear out some room in the garage to purchase a 2nd Spec Miata. Hood and bumper are included and back on (removed for turbo removal) Does not include roll bar in pictures
The good:
Almost perfect interior
Soft top in great shape
Koni Yellows
Differential as replaced 2 years ago
ACT clutch
Bad:
Doesn't run
Missing: Exhaust, intake track, AFM, fuel injectors, fuel lines, etc.. (basically everything that was needed for the turbo kit)
Rust in both rear quarters, RF fender and drivers door

How much fuel line is missing? Wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of the intake manifold with the motor I sold

Nonetheless I may be interested.

Metal lines are still there. Only some of the rubber lines needs to be replaced (rubber lines where routed to go to the adjustable fuel pressure regulator with the turbo).

Scott - I could use the interior plus some other items. I contacted Brock who
needs an engine to see if we could work something out. Waiting to hear from
him.
Thanks, Bruce

I guess I could consider taking the rest depending on how much of it you take Bruce..

Justin - I mainly am interested in the entire interior, soft top w/frame and
some door window parts or complete doors. What are your needs?
Thanks, Bruce

Don't need the soft top or frame, but I probably wouldn't be interested without doors/windows in it.

According to CCVT, Brock has a motor already. So it might be down to you and I.

Yea, I ended up finding a 94 1.8L longblock yesterday, but I need a bunch of parts (intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, ehxaust manifold, etc... Still may be cheaper for me to just get the 1.6L for now...

so, if you guys were to want to split this up, what would you want me to throw in to get the 143k, previously boosted, most likely about to also die motor? lol. Guess I could use this until I finish my 1.8L build

OK guys I don't have a place to put this until my house goes through, and I'm not sure how much of the car is really going to be cannibalized. 3 way purchasing is hard to work out. So, if it's still around on my timetable I'll buy it and sell you parts. If one of you buys it and enough is left for my needs when I'm ready, I'll buy it. If not, you two have fun with it.

Justin, just FYI you are more than welcome to store it at my place now if you want to go that route...
As far as parts for me atleast- I literally need nothing other than the longblock. no sensors, wiring, etc.

My wife is getting sick of looking at this car so I need to get this thing gone. New price $800, it's worth about double that if you want to part it out. If it doesn't go soon I will probably pull the parts I want to keep as spares (and keep the Koni's for another car) for the Spec Miata and scrap the rest......
