SARRC/MARRS at VIR May 7/8
Come down to VIR this weekend for the SARRC/MARRS double. Qualifying in the morning, races in the afternoon.
A handfull of BRR members will be there racing, Greg, Bill, Steve, Todd. There will be a Margarita party at Eric's camper in the South Paddock on Saturday night (after the event social).
If anyone is interested in working the event, we can get you in touch with the specialty chief. I know they need help for Pit and Grid, and can always use help for the corners and timing & scoring (inside A/C).
Steve and I will both be racing in ITB. I put my other motor in the car (after overheating the other one in March), found my drivability problem (vacuum leak), and ordered fresh tires, and I am looking forward to our race being fun and a challenge.

I'm still waiting on my ECU- sent it off for a reflash and it's been one big snafu after another getting it back.
Todd- save me a spot, I hope I make it...

My highlight video from Sunday's race
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRpMVYVOybo
Car ran well, fixed the low RPM miss that the prior motor had (found a vacuum leak). The spare motor that I put in the car
now has a high RPM flat spot. At 5000 the motor looses power, then picks back up a second or two later, does not happen every time. Advancing the timing moved the flat spot down 500 or 1000 RPMS. This spare motor did not have this flat spot when removed.

Great video, looks like you had fun all race with those MR2' s and the BMW 2002. That Full Course Yellow livened things up at the end- I got caught up in a Spec Miata scrum, was glad to see the checker .
