Time trial Summit point full course

Post by yenko66 »

I mentioned tonight at the Banquet about an upcomming time trial event at Summit point.

The NECC (North East Corvair Council) is hosting a time trial event at the full course of Summit Point on Monday May the 3rd.

This is the best bang for the buck. Price will be posted soon on there website ($180 to $220 range)
This is a very fun group to run with. The track time is only limited to how much you want to drive. In total you could get 4 to 6 hours of track time along with 3 timed laps at the end of the day.

This event is open to anyone with a valid drivers lic. Anyone who has a car , Convertibles are required to have roll bars as are closed cars running on full road race slicks. DOT tired cars even R comps are not required to have a roll bar.

Passing will only be allowed in designated zones in straight aways.

Clothing requirements are long pants and long sleeve shirts, no open toed shoes. Helmet requirements are just like most other orginizations a Snell SA2000 or newer rating.

The registration info isnt up yet but the website address is .

Update....

Helmet requirements are M or SA 2000 or newer...

Also the registration for this event is now open.

The event coordinators need to get people registered before the end of the month. They have a deadline and if there aren't enough entries they will have to cancel the event.
