Region abbreviation for events

Post by glenthompson »

We have been asked to provide the 3 or 4 letter abbreviation we prefer for reporting our member's results. My preference is BRR. Does anybody prefer something else?

That's what I've used over the years, not sure what else would work anyway.

I agree, BRR. I think the offical SCCA abbreviation is BlRg, which caused a large amount of discussion/issue with the board back when SCCA provided the abbreviation. Most, if not all of the board wanted the abbreviation to be BRR, but due to some issue (maybe, needed to use a few letters of each regions name), BlRg is used.
