I have a set of 1997 Miata M edition wheels (15 x 6) with 205/50/15 Kumho MX's mounted.

The original M Edition wheels were chrome plated on the front. When I got the car the chrome plating was peeling. I had the wheels media blasted to remove the plating and I have painted the wheels an anthricite gray.

The Kumho's have approx 4/32 tread left. I ran them in a "street tire" class a couple times this year and did pretty well.

$225 for the set.

sorry tim, haven't been checking my pm box this week, been working overtime for the past 3 weeks (and glad for it with this economy).
Sounds pretty good to me, give me a night at work to think about it (tonight) and then we'll work out a pick up time/place etc in the PM's.

I'm sorry tim I probably won't be taking you up on this wheel/tire combo, I ended up getting a killer deal on some Rota RB's (found out I won the auction this morning). Thanks for getting back to me on them though. I'll link this post to the Shenandoah Valley Miata Club, there was a member there looking for OEM 15's.

For anyone on here who's interested in them, not only are MX's good ST autocross tires at 4/32nds, but they're even better HPDE/PDX tires for the track as they don't get greasy when hot like Azenis or other street tires.

If they sell before Christmas, groovy. If not, I'll probably take them.

Tim, can you post a pic of one of these rims? Might be interested, I'm looking for another set of 15's for my street '99 Miata.
