Another Charter Member bites the dust
Farewell to all. We are moving to FL full time this Thursday as some of you already know.
I have a bunch of old Ridge Runner newsletters (the way we communicated in the old days) from '82 to '04 I believe. I offered them initially to Historian Ray, but have not heard from him. Could be used to make a scrap book for BRRSCCA. if anyone is so inclined. Some issues are missing I'm sure.
Also have a bunch of trophy plaques that could be recycled easily. Some are the recent type, most are earlier. Some are the outline of Virginia in different woods with the SCCA wheel logo in metal attached.
If interested let me know ASAP. I can get them to Jim Michaels who I hope will be willing to deliver them to a future event.
Plan to be back for some HPDE's at VIR next year so may see you there.

Sorry to hear you're leaving the area. Enjoy yourself in FL.
I'd like to get the RidgeRunners. If Jim can bring them to either of the next events, that would be great. I have a few but am missing large chunks. I may try to scan them for an electronic archive.

Thanks Glen for taking the Ridge Runners.
Thanks to all for the good wishes. I will miss you all. Central Florida region is much bigger but not as well organized autocrosses IMO as BRR!
Any interest in the trophy plaques? If not, maybe Jim Michaels can use them as well dried kindling for his new fireplace? Sue says (and I agree) we have no space for them in FL.

Maury,
You can always keep your membership in BRR or be a dual Region SCCA member. I hope to see you at VIR next year.. I wanted to get to one of the Driving Events that you and Jim were instructing. I am sure you will be back to Virginia soon to enjoy the "Four Seasons". Keep us posted on your Florida adventures...

Why not stay a BRR member? I've always been a BRR member, despite living in Maryland. I've also been an Atlanta Region member for the past two years.
We'll miss you, Maury!!! Enjoy Florida!
