MDA car show

OK im in need of volunteers for this. We should have plenty of passes for people to come and go as they please. I need a few volunteers to help get cars inside and set up Friday morning yhe 3rd around 9 am. Anyone else who wants to work the booth over the weekend let me know.

Who is in possession of the trailer right now? I need a few supplies out of it

hklvette has the trailer. I am planning to help him work on wiring this weekend so I can grab whatever you need.

As for MDA, I'll be available throughout the weekend EXCEPT for Friday. I am willing to put the Saturn in our display this year - just let me know. Someone else will have to drive it in since I can't make it Friday morning, but that doesn't bother me.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I have the file for a free Autocross entry. I can print those or get the file to whomever needs it.

Brad we have the cars already submitted on the paperwork. My plan for Friday is get there early. Get the cars inside and hopefully be on my way to VIR by 1030. I assume that's why your busy Friday. I'll have to catch up with you at the track. Of course if I don't have help then I may be a little later getting to VIR

Henry can you bring with you Friday some cones and I think there are a few yard signs also and whatever you might find useful.

OK, so how did it go at the car show? How was traffic at our table? Is there a list of contacts to follow up with?

This years interest was mediocre at best. Not sure if I will do it again next year unless I have some help or other volunteers. The board will have to debate the pros and cons of doing it again. I know Crista at the VIR booth gave away almost all of her stuff and had a huge amount of interest. Since our booths were right next to each other she would recommend people talk to us how to get there feet wet in motorsports. I usually would then recommend autocross or even just coming to an event to check it out. I guess we will see if we have a huge number of novices come out in the 19th.
