has anyone ever autocrossed on these tires? i may have an opportunity to get a set or 2 fairly cheep but im not sure how they do as autocross tires? obviously they wont be liek A6's or the hankooks i have now but i was just wondering if i can get them for cheap if they are worth it?

My first R comps were 700s. They're okay. Obviously not as good as A6s or V710s, but okay and a bit more durable. Expect them to last a full season (maybe longer). If bought for the right price, go for it!

If you and your dad run the car back to back you'll probably be able to get enough heat into them to work really well. They're comparable to RA-1s (think I saw you running those last year at some point) but are a little better at autox than RA-1's.

yea i ran ra-1's and they are still sitting in my garage and have about 2 events left on them. i loved the ra-1's and they seemed to work good on the colt so if the 700's r comparable sounds like i should get the 700's. if everythign goes as expected i should be able to get them real cheep

these tires ended up being v710's and i got 10 of them for cheap so im good to go for the next 2+ years as far as tires go
