Post by Carl Fisher »

Where has the summer gone? Well, as hot as it's been, you'd be hard pressed to tell it's not still here! But here's a sure sign for you: Tarheel Sports Car Club's last points-paying rallycross of the season is coming up soon!

Come on out on Saturday, September 22nd to Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC for a fast day of fall fun!

Everyone liked the alternate track configuration we used last time, so we'll be doing it again, though as always we'll be adding a twist or 2... :)

Event info is now posted and available for viewing in the privacy of your own home or workplace at

http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2007 ... 2info.html

It includes times, prices, and directions.

Our events have been especially popular this year, and we have a 50 car entry limit, so reserve your spot now by signing up online now. It's fast and easy, and you can even remove yourself later if you find you can't make it. You can find that form at

It's going to be a good time, hope to see y'all there!

Just a reminder that THSCC has a rallycross coming up this Saturday, September 22nd, at our great Orange County Speedway site in Rougemont, NC. This site is large and firm and fast and does not rut, though it can be dusty if it's dry. It has some nice elevation change which is fun to drive.

Details on this event, including times, prices, and directions, can be found at

Online pre-registration makes sure you've got a spot reserved and makes the registration process go more quickly on event day morning. It's fast and easy- highly recommended! Do that here:

Spectators are welcome, they are free and do not need to register. Just show up and find a good spot. For you race fans, there will be a race later (at 7pm) on the Orange County Speedway 3/8 mile oval. Those cars are loud and fast and fun to watch- come on out and stay for the whole day!

Hope to see y'all there!
